Safe and gentle horses and ponies.
Fun-filled days with good friends, new and old. Riding lessons.
Games on horseback. Arts and crafts. This is just a sampling of
the events that occur at Enterprise Farms’ riding camps.
Our year-round riding camps feature
safety oriented instruction on how to work around horses, basic
horsemanship skills, grooming, bathing, tacking and exercising.
Special guests -- including veterinarians, professional trainers,
and farriers (horse shoers) -- demonstrate their expertise, invite
hands-on participation and answer questions from students. Field
trips to the Mounted Police headquarters give students the chance
to observe this highly specialized group as they practice their
training.
Week-long camps close with a horse
show and awards ceremony where campers demonstrate their newly
developed skills for family and friends.
The
cost of $495 per student per 1 week-long session includes
the use of horse, tack, riding helmet, healthy morning and afternoon
snacks, and lunch on Horse Show day.
Stand alone days, when available, are at a charge of $150
per day.
Camp
sessions are limited to small groups, which insures that campers
receive maximum attention and education. Enterprise
Farms welcomes first-time riders through advanced riders.
